All mothers need a couple of lap and burp pads. One is never enough because there is always at least one that is in the wash or needs washing, that’s just the way it is. Of course you are going to want your burp pad to be waterproof, for obvious reasons.

Organic Waterproof Lap and Burp Pad

No doubt you are looking for an organic lap/burp pad. Burp pads usually consist of two layers. The American Baby Company has a number of burp pads where the top layer is made of 100% organic cotton. That’s great but the inner layer is made of 100% polyester. Not so great. I guess that is the waterproof part. It’s a shame the entire product can’t be 100% certified organic cotton but that is often how it is with burp pads.
